Chanukah brings menorah lightings to the rivertowns

Four villages in the rivertowns are displaying public menorahs to celebrate Chanukah this holiday season.

Sponsored by Chabad of the Rivertowns, the menorahs are located in Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, and Hastings-on-Hudson.

Chabad will host community menorah lightings featuring live music and food on the following dates:


  • Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. (Legions Park in Ardsley at the corner of Ashford Avenue and Saw Mill River Road)

  • Sunday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. (Irvington Fire Department on Main Street)

  • Monday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. (corner of Cedar Street and Main Street in Dobbs Ferry)

  • Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. (in front of VFW on Warburton Avenue in Hastings)
