Send our troops a little taste of home for the holidays. Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services is proud to be one of the nearly 1000 Veterans & Family Memorial Care providers across America that is participating in this year’s annual Christmas Stockings for Soldiers initiative. From now through December 1^st please stop by our funeral homes and pick-up a Free Christmas Stocking to take home, decorate and stuff with Christmas Cheer. You will receive a list of recommended items along with the free stocking. Ballard-Durand will ship the stockings at our expense, to a platoon of soldiers we’ve adopted abroad in time for Christmas. “Sending our heroes some good tidings and holiday cheer is a great way for us to show our support and appreciation for the sacrifices they make to keep our country safe and secure” says Matthew Fiorillo, owner of Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services.

 

In addition Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services is also an official drop off center for Cell Phones for Soldiers. Please bring in your old cell phones to help our troops call home this holiday season. The old cell phones are recycled and turned into free calling cards for our heroes. To date VFMC Providers nationwide have collected enough old cell phones to provide our troops overseas with nearly 4 Million free calling minutes.   Ballard-Durand is proud to continue to support this effort as we have done since four years ago.
