The Brown sisters of Greenburgh are at it again. For the fourth straight year, Je’lyn Brown, 16, and Jade Brown, 11, are collecting toys and clothes for the more than 200 homeless children living at the Coachman Family Center in White Plains.
Je’lyn started “Bringing Joy to the Children” in 2009 after learning that there are more than 45,000 homeless children in New York. She began by asking friends and relatives to contribute new toys. Now contributions are made by various local organizations, individuals and businesses.
To contribute a new, unwrapped toy or clothing, send an email to: thebrownfamily4@optonline.net
The girls will make arrangements to have your donation picked up by an adult. The deadline for pickups is Dec. 20.
