The John A. Coleman School and Children’s Rehabilitation Center hosts its 9th Annual “For the Children” walk-a-thon on Sunday, Oct. 14 at Saxon Woods Park in White Plains.
The event raises funds for the school’s programs and services for lower Hudson Valley children with special needs.
This year the Greenburgh Police Department will be honored for its longstanding efforts to improve the lives of Coleman school kids. The event will include music, entertainment and refreshments.
Registration begins at noon and the walk-a-thon starts at 12:30 p.m.
