The French-American School of White Plains and Teatown Lake Reservation will present a free public screening of “Symphony of the Soil,” a new documentary film on the importance of healthy soils in supporting the environment and human life, on Oct. 11 at the former Ridgeway Country Club, 400 Ridgeway in White Plains.
A panel discussion will follow, with speakers discussing how soil restoration will be a key feature of FASNY’s 84-acre “Greens to Green Conservancy” if their plan to build a campus for 1,200 students, is approved by the White Plains Common Council.
The screening is set for 6:30 p.m. The screening is free but tickets are required. They can be obtained by sending an RSVP to info@greenstogreen.org.
