The final environmental impact statement (FEIS) for the Rivertowns Square redevelopment project is available to the public at Dobbs Ferry Village Hall.
Residents can view a hard copy of the document Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the office of the village clerk at 507 Ashford Avenue. It is also available at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library and can be found online by clicking here.
A special public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Embassy Community Center during which residents and interested parties will have an opportunity to voice their opinions, concerns, and/or questions about the proposed project.
Residents are also encouraged to submit written input to the village Board of Trustees, which will be accepted up to 10 days following the public hearing.
Last Thursday, the board unanimously voted to accept the FEIS as “complete,” meaning the village has fully reviewed the document and determined that all substantive comments related to potential environmental impacts have been adequately addressed. This does not mean the board has approved the project.
