If you’re running errands in the village next week, don’t be surprised to find Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese shooting scenes for their upcoming film, “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
Village Manager George Calvi said the cast will film a street scene next Friday on Saw Mill River Road that features vehicles from the 1980s. He said there will be periodic delays and closures throughout the day between Ashford Avenue and Center Street. Crew members have spent this week preparing a building in the village for interior scenes that will be shot Tuesday through Thursday.
Scheduled for release next year, the movie also stars Hollywood actors Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey. It is based on the story of a New York stockbroker who spent 22 months in prison after swindling money from his clients.
