The Greenburgh school district has released the list of the three finalists for superintendent.
Ronald Ross, Greenburgh’s Interim Superintendent and Woodlands High School Principal
Anthony Cavanna, Superintendent, West Orange, NJ, Schools
Robert Copeland, Superintendent Piscataway, NJ, Schools
The two New Jersey candidates continue a trend of superintendents seeking to leave that state after the passage of a cap on superintendent salaries.
The candidates will meet with parents, students and staff later this week during a series of evening forums where each answers questions from the public.
The meeting with Ross will be held on Wednesday. Cavanna will visit the district on Thursday followed by Copeland on Friday. The forums, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. each night, will be held in the high school cafeteria.
The forums will be moderated by Terry Williams, the Board of Education president. To submit a question to be asked, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
