The Greenburgh school district is apparently close to narrowing down the list of superintendent candidates to the final three.
The three have not been selected, said Tito Davila, a district spokesman. However, the district has invited the public to meet the candidates at 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on April 25, 26 and 27 at the Woodlands High School cafeteria. One candidate will be presented each night.
Davila said a decision on the final three may be made early next week and a new superintendent selected by next month. Ronald Ross, the high school principal and interim superintendent, has expressed interest in the job.
The candidate forums will be moderated by Board of Education president Terry Williams, who will present the finalists with questions from the public. The community can submit brief questions during the event or in advance by e-mail to suptsearch@greenburgh7.net.
