A first-time preview of the Harlem Fine Arts Show to benefit youth programs is to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 12. at the Reckson Building, 360 Hamilton Ave. The show is the premier showcase for modern and contemporary African Diasporic art.
The preview offers visitors a chance to see and purchase works from established artists including renouwned African-American photographer James Vand Der Zee, Poncho Brown, Leroy Campbell and others. Also on exhibit will be works of local students.
The preveiw is being co-hosted by the newly formed Friends of the White Plains Youth Bureau, and the Westchester Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
