“For the Children,” an annual walk-a-thon and fall festival to benefit the John A. Coleman School and Children’s Rehabilitation Center is scheduled for noon Sunday (Oct. 16) at Saxon Woods Park in White Plains. Featuring music, entertainment and fun for the whole family, this year’s event will honor the White Plains Fire Department.
The John A. Coleman School, with a campus at 310 North St., provides special education programs and setvices to children from birth to 21 years old. The Children’s Rehabilitation Center, at 317 North St., is an outpatient pediatric diagnostic and treatment center for children with disabilities including cererbal palsy, spinal bifida, chromsomal syndromes, orthopedic impairments and other complex diagnoses.
