A “Dr. Seuss Back to School” book fair to benefit the Center for Literacy Enrichment in White Plains is being held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday (9/24) at the Barnes and Noble store in the White Plains City Center.
The store will donate a percentage of its sales to the enrichment program, founded by Sister St. John Delaney almost four decades ago to enhance children’s reading comprehension and writing skills. The center is located on the campus of Pace University in White Plains.
Saturday’s fair will include Dr. Seuss story time, trivia games and face painting.
