Retired Journal News senior editor Milt Hoffman will talk about government-consolidation efforts and other government cost-cutting efforts on columnist Phil Reisman’s weekly radio show, today at noon.
Reisman will also talk about White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley’s conviction on five of nine counts in his domestic-violence case.
Reisman’s show will air from noon to 1 p.m. on WVOX 1460 AM and online on www.wvox.com.
Listeners can call during the show at 914-636-0110.
Hoffman will talk about a number of political topics, including his work on a panel that examined the feasibility of consolidating three fire districts in the town of Greenburgh. This will be a starting point in a wider discussion about the great obstacles that are in the path of common-sense proposals to cut the cost of government.
Reisman will also ask Hoffman about Albany corruption, including the case of former state Sen. Vincent Leibell. And the recent move by Westchester’s Board of Legislators to impose term limits.
