Robert Ketzler, 18, (dark shirt) and Charles McCarthy, 19, (white shirt) are facing felony burglary charges for a pair of home break-ins on Nov. 30.
Police Capt. Christopher McNerney, commander of the detective division, said they entered homes in the overnight hours while residents slept and stole laptop computers, video game system and other electronics.
Ketzler was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary on Monday for breaking into homes on Pheasant Run and Andrea Lane on that date. McCarthy was charged today with one count of second-degree burglary for the Andrea Lane break-in. They were arraigned today in Greneburgh Town Court and are free on $1,000 bail.
McNerney said police have not ruled out Ketzler and McCarthy as suspects in some of the 10 open residential burglaries in Edgemont. He said McCarthy was on probation for an attempted robbery conviction in Eastchester in 2008.
