There also will be a lane closure southbound from about one-half mile south of Exit 18A (Mamaroneck, Fenimore Road) to Exit 18B (White Plains, Mamaroneck Ave. East). Double lane closures will be in place northbound about one-half mile south of Exit 18B.
Double lane closures will be in place during the daytime on Wednesday, November 17, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on I-95 northbound, about one-half mile north of Exit 18B. In case of inclement weather the work will take place on Thursday, November 18.
During the daytime closure period from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., motorists may experience heavy delays and are advised to consider alternative routes. Heavy delays means motorists travel time could be delayed 20 minutes or more beyond the normal conditions.
The Thruway Authority will activate its Variable Message Signs and Highway Advisory Radio 530 AM to advise motorists of the closures.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while this pavement repair work takes place.
