And the winners are…..Congratulations to Samantha Gold, 17, of Armonk, who was crowned Miss Westchester Teen 2011, and Christina DeLeon, 24, of Yorktown Heights, who was crowned Miss Westchester 2011 during the pageants held Sunday at the White Plains Performing Arts Center.
They now get to represent the county at the 2011 Miss New York USA and Miss New York Teen USA pageant in November. Here’s Gold, left, with DeLeon.

Celebrity Emcees for the evening were Tracey Chang, Miss New York USA 2009, and Chris Bro, 107.1 The Peak DJ and host of NEXT. The audience was entertained by actor and comedian, Joe Harrington. Judging the competition were: Patricia Fischer Donohue, Doug Epstein, Saundra Jackson, Jennifer Magnan and Carlos Martinez. The Judges Coordinator was Sacha von Loewenstein. Official Pageant Auditors, Barbara Bel and Douglas Ruttenberg, Partners at White Plains CPA firm EZKR, tabulated the results. The pageant production was directed and choreographed by Kandice Pelletier. Among the special guests attending the event were New York State Assemblyman Bob Castelli and Jenna Edwards, founder and executive director of Queen For A Day Foundation, the beneficiary of the People’s Choice Award fundraiser.
