Fort Hill Players in White Plains is still seeking a male actor for the part of George in “Don’t Dress For Dinner.”
Here’s their notice:
“Don’t Dress for Dinner” is a frenetic case of mistaken identity with more twists than a corkscrew. From the author of “Boeing, Boeing,” this expert farce is about frantic cover-ups and comedic discoveries when a cheating husband is almost caught by his cheating wife. Add an unsuspecting best friend, a very confused cook and her big bruiser of a jealous husband. The result is a recipe for comic confusion that combines quirky, funny dialogue, pratfalls, and sexy hanky-panky at an ever-escalating pace. English and French accents a plus, but not required.
George (Suzette’s husband): Chef, big stature, commanding presence. Big heart, bad temper….elevator might not go all the way up.
See the Fort Hill Players website for audition sides.
Production Dates: Oct 5, 16, 22, 23 (with a matinee on the 16)
Read-through in August. Rehearsals begin Sept 7.
