Blind Water Taste Test in White Plains

Posted by: Tania Savayan - Posted in White Plains on May 05, 2010

Pedestrians participated in a blind water taste test today in front of the Michaelian office building on Martine Avenue in White Plains. The Westchester County Department of Health held its annual water tasting contest with six different suppliers for best water in Westchester County. They included the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, Elmsford Water Department, Ossining Water Department, Westchester County Water District #3, United Water of New Rochelle and the City of Yonkers.

Above: Mike Bizzoco of West Harrison participates in a water taste test. Bizzoco liked the water from the Village of Croton-on-Hudson best because he felt it was the cleanest.

Check back at LoHud to read more on the story by reporter Greg Clary and  to see a video of him tasting the water. Click here to see a galley of photos.
