It breaks my heart to see my Fathers’ business close after over 50 yrs of Harley Davidson. Which was also a motorcycle business ( mostly imports) since the 1920’s.
I grew up with “every Sunday”...either at a work party or event. I know that Leslie…my Aunt and Godmother, has done everything possible to prevent this, but the economic times, some bad timeing and Harley Davidson’s policy’s have led to this unfortunate outcome. My son Jason…Reggie’s grandson..was there working with Leslie. The family history is rich with firsts…My Dad, and Leslie…as a woman challenging a man’s sport…the Danica Patrick of today. My brothers as well. All racers with more 1st places than I can count!
A piece of me…and my family is gone. I thank all of you for your love and support over all these years!

All I can say is that Leslie sends me a birthday card every year and that means a lot. the day I went in there in 2004 and purchaseed my low rider, Chris was my salesman and we had very few words since Harleys pretty much sell themselves. For me the guys were always courteous with me. I eventually had an accident and totaled my bike but I always had a plan that someday I would walk in there with a pile of cash and pick up a new Harley Trike. Yes there are other dealers but not like this one. Lots of History. Sorry to see them go. Hope all the staff were able to go elsewhere.
Hi Donna,
I’m sorry to see that your father’s dealership closed after all these years. I don’t know if you remember me or not, but I was a friend of Michael’s when you were first dating and first married. I hope that you are all doing well in spite of the dealership closing. Sincerely, Frank Karst
