El Centro Hispano in White Plains will be holding presentations Sunday on nutrition, the census and housing at the center starting at 12:30 p.m.
Dr. Barry Boyd, a nutritionist and director of the Boyd Center for Integrative Health in Greenwich, Conn., will talk about the relationship between nutrition and cancer. Clara Tavarez from Latinos Realty will discuss the latest trends in Westchester County’s housing market. And representatives of the city Planning Department and the U.S. Census Bureau will talk about the importance of being counted in the 2010 census. An immigration and family lawyer will also be at the event to answer general questions.
