Greenburgh police are warning residents to be on the lookout for a coyote that attacked a woman near Travis Hill Park today and may have attacked a dog in the same area.
Police Chief Joseph DeCarlo said a Greenburgh woman was bitten and scratched by the coyote as she walked in the woods around Old Tarrytown Road and Wyndover Road, roughly 500 feet west of the Bronx River Parkway.
Police are trying to track the coyote and are asking residents, espeically those who live near Travis Hill Park, to be on alert.
